Info Meeting – Historic House Tour

The Douglas County Historical Society is in the early stages of planning the 2025 Alexandria Historic House Tour to be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

We are seeking individuals interested in showcasing their historic houses and allowing members of the public a chance to see the history inside their homes.

This survey connects DCHS with those interested in participating in the tour.

DCHS will assist by providing research on your house’s history and docents to guide guests on the day of the tour. An info session for those interested in participating will be held at a later date to go over specific questions and logistics.

Two informational meetings are set for people interested in volunteering their houses for the tour:

Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 5:30 pm, held at DCHS

Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 5:30 pm, held at DCHS
