The Great Hotdish Bake-Off & Silent Auction! is a family friendly event fundraiser featuring a hotdish competition, silent auction, local history, and other fun & activities, supporting the Douglas County Historical Society. Sample a variety of hotdishes and vote for your favorite!
11 AM – 2 PM at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria, MN on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023.
Adults $10, Children Free.
Our cookbook of Douglas County’s favorite hotdishes will be available at the event!

Hotdish Team Info
Please register your Hotdish Team by Friday, February 3rd. To register your team or for more information, please call DCHS at 320-762-0382 or email Brittany N. Johnson at brittany.johnson@dchsmn.org.
A Hotdish Team is responsible for the following:
- Three 9×13” pans of a Signature Hotdish from your organization.
- Hotdishes must be made in a church or commercial kitchen.
- Hotdishes may not contain home-canned goods.
- Home crockpots/slow cookers may not be used, but commercial warming units are permitted. Broadway Ballroom can provide limited chafing dishes – let us know ASAP if you need one.
- 1-2 people to staff your team’s table from set up at 10:30 AM to the event’s closing after 2 PM on Saturday, February 11th, 2023.
- If you have information, handouts, or displays about your organization, please bring them along for your table!
- There is no entry cost for teams to participate.
